Listings Instructions
- Choose Categories(s) - You first need to choose the categories
that your company are to show up in. For example a
contractor may offer many services. They may want to list on
Doors and Windows and also heating and air conditioning
in a particular state. They also have the option to list
their company in the main category. Different
listings run different prices. Prices are based on demand and the
amount of traffic that the category gets.
- Price the listing(s) - Once you choose the categories your want to list your company in email us at: listings@home-improvement-index.com
or call us at: (513)519-0771. We will work out your pricing.
Discounts are given the more categories you choose.
- Create Listing(s) - Now come up with the information you want for each of the listings. You can have a separate listing for each category, or you can use the same listing for all of them.

Featured Listing
An enhanced listing is the premium listing on
the Home Improvement Index. Your listing will have two links to your home page a link to your company profile, and a direct link to your email. It also allows for a short description and a phone number.
Enhanced listings are randomly placed above the basic listings.
Basic Listing
Basic listings allow your company to create a
presence on the Home Improvement Index for a much lower fee. The lower fee however means a lower placement and less traffic. The basic listings are placed under the enhanced listings. Your listing title links to your company profile page.
Company Profile
Each company can create a company profile. You have the option to create a different profile for each listing you have. Your company profile acts as
a quick reference for visitors. They can find out your basic company information along with a short and long description. Your long description allows for HTML.
This means you can create a web page to post on the lower part of your company profile. The maximum width for this area is 480.
